Crocheted Bead Necklaces and Bracelets

Join master craft artist Paula Gregoire-Jones and learn to crochet (chain stitch) with fine gauge wire or cord and beads to make an unusual necklace or bracelet.  First we string the beads on wire or cord, and then make one or more crocheted chains using a simple chain stitch.  You may braid the completed lengths together to complete or finish your ends with a clasp.  All materials provided.  Please bring small size crochet hook (Size C-E) if you have one.

Working alla prima (wet on wet, or in Italian first attempt) you will produce a painting in 3 hours.  Using paint expressively and working from observation in a studio setting, this technique will result in works that are spontaneous, exciting and fresh.  All painting mediums welcome.  Note: Gamsol or odorless solvent only for oil painters, no turpentine.  Bring your paints, brushes, palettes and a canvas or prepared papers no larger than 9x12.
