This unique photography workshop is limited to only 4 participants for the ultimate in hands-on instruction at one of the premier surfing spots in the world. You will be shooting surfing action photos and scenics with Glenn, who has decades of professional experience and knowledge of the location. After a morning of shooting the surf, we will meet back at the Arts Center for a look at quick editing and optimization for printing or publication.

One of the simplest ways to embellish wire is to add beads – in this class we will be wrapping beads around a heart shape, spiral shape or a wire shape of your choice to make a pendant and/or earrings.  One of the most important things to know about this technique is how versatile it is.  It works with any size and type of bead that you can fit your wrap wire through. Come make a beautiful Valentine’s gift for yourself or someone else!  No experience required. This photography workshop will start in the classroom with some basic tips culled from Glenn's 45-year quest for the best blazing sunset in Carpinteria. We will head for the wide-open beach with enough time to set up and examine a few nearby options to get unique images. After the sun goes to sleep at 5:41 PM we will stay for a few more moments to record the afterglow of twilight then head back to the classroom to share our images and discuss editing, optimization and preparation for printing and publication.
