I am  inspired by the common places we walk by and occasionally stop in and sit a while at. Common ground for conversations, meeting others, celebrations and for observations.  These are original oil paintings that began from an instant of noticing and grew to an in depth appreciation."

"A sense of place, whether a home, business or street scene, embraces the time of its creation."

My long-held passion for painting led me to the University of California at Santa Barbara where I received a Bachelors Degree in Art Studio. It was here that, after much experimentation and effort with technique, I found that I am most inspired by painting architectural forms.

The man-made landscape is an ever changing one. I attempt to capture what still exists today. All of these spaces are relevant parts of the environment we inhabit in our daily lives and are the settings for the memories we make.
