Giving: Support a Home for the ARTS

Support a New Home for the Arts
The summer teen mural projects engages teens in creating public art.

The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center continues to raise funds to build a home for generations in the heart of downtown Carpinteria.  We are working hard to complete the renovation of the open courtyard space and the the 2,600 square foot former Cajun Kitchen building.

When the renovations are complete, The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center will take its place among the best small town arts centers in the country.

The new facilities will include professional gallery spaces exhibiting local, regional, and nationally known artists; a ceramics yard; and studio/class/workshop spaces for all ages to explore the arts in a variety of mediums, including 2D and 3D visual art, music, film, poetry, and special courses.

There will also be a catering kitchen for special events, and the facilities will be available to the community to rent a beautiful space for special events, corporate meetings, private parties, and weddings.

We will preserve the large trees and renew the outside courtyard that the community has come to use and enjoy for summer camp, artisans marketplace, and live music performances.

When completed, the capital campaign will cover the purchase and improvements of the site and create a $500,000 endowment fund.

With over $3 million raised or pledged as of October 2018, the campaign is well on its way, but we need the support of every arts lover on the South Coast to reach our goal!

Many opportunities to support the Arts!
